Members of the Thousand Island Park Yacht Club and their accompanied guests may use the sailboats and kayaks belonging to the Club, those that are marked at the bow with the letters “YC”.  Boats are available to the general membership at any time excluding weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., when boating school lessons are in progress.  Please use the boats in a safe and responsible manner and adhere to the following rules:
 
  1. All boaters must wear Coast Guard approved PFDs at all times on the water.  
  2. Please only borrow boats that you are qualified to use.  
  3. If you need instruction please arrange for lessons with our staff.  
  4. All boats must have a paddle and bailing device on board before leaving the dock.  All boats must be off the water by dark.  
  5. You will be required to fill out a float plan prior to taking a boat out.  They are available at the Skiff Dock on South Bay,
  6. Boats must be stored neatly, as they were found, and all equipment used must be secured.
  7. Please report any problems or damage on the float plan in the space provided.
  8. It is the responsibility of the borrower to pay for any damage that occurs.
